Students “who started the year very unsure of themselves are trying more in class”

“I’ve noticed that the kids are more confident with answering questions out loud than in years past. Some of my kids who started the year very unsure of themselves are trying more in class. They are already seeing the patterns that I am talking about in class because of their practice with Reflex. It’s really great to see and experience! They are also more productive in small group work. I feel this is due to them having more of that groundwork baseline of understanding the material so they are more productive and less disruptive. I feel that Reflex is a great tool that assists with the core education that they are receiving daily. I think that it’s great that there is a program the kids can complete on their own time and see their progress in their reward center that shows them their tree of fluent facts. I think that allowing them to see how far they’ve come allows them to try harder to “beat” themselves instead of interest dying off.”
