“Reflex has helped to bridge the gap” for middle school students

“My students have make tremendous growth. Students have commented to me that, because they are actually learning their basic arithmetic skills, it is making the material they are learning in math class easier to understand. Teachers have noticed a difference in student confidence. Students that were previously shy and withdrawn from class are becoming active participants. At the beginning of the school year, one of our sixth grade students wouldn’t do any math during homeroom. The work being given was basic skills like Reflex but in worksheet format. She would sit there and take a zero because math was so frustrating to her. Yesterday that same teacher told me they see a big difference in her. That particular student now actively participates and gets upset if she doesn’t get called on to solve all the problems. Her confidence has grown, and while she still has a way to go, Reflex has helped to bridge the gap.”
