Tech & Learning: Seeing math in new ways with Gizmos

Tech & Learning reports that schools are turning to ed tech solutions like Gizmos to help their students “achieve new levels of mastery and confidence.”

A math teacher in Gilmer County High School in Glenville, West Virginia, implemented a blended learning model, and now her students have “the highest WV General Summative Assessments math scores in the school.”

Using ed tech solutions allows students of all abilities to have “a better grasp of often difficult and abstract topics.” They’re “able to manipulate objects or use math manipulatives” and receive instant feedback, and they benefit from “assignments specifically tailored to their needs.”
