“I have several students that have amazed me with their progress and new confidence in math”

“Basic facts help to build a solid foundation in math. Once students have confidence with these facts they are able to build off all knowledge. When students struggle with facts it takes so much time and energy to do higher level math. Most students give up and don’t try when they are missing these basic facts. When students have solid mastery they are confident and willing to try harder skills that build off of that foundation. All my third grade students started at a low fluency score in addition and subtraction. I have several students that have amazed me with their progress and new confidence in math. Most of my Title I students showed growth on the NWEA test ranging from improving 1 point all the way to 20 points. I am happy to see eleven students had double digits in improvement. I believe that Reflex can play a large role in getting kids ready for the next grade.”
