Technology opens new opportunities for students

The Clanton Advertiser reports that technology, Internet access and online programs like Reflex are opening new opportunities for students in Chilton County Schools, Alabama. The district is moving toward 1:1 Chromebooks, and have used Title I funds to purchase many of the devices.

Elementary school students are using Reflex, says Assistant Principal Sue Ellen Gilliland. “Many Chilton County Schools use Reflex to help students learn basic math in a fun way.” Reflex also “helps teachers document a student’s progress and provide individualized tutoring.”
