Struggling student now tries harder in school after using Reflex

“One of my 5th grade students struggles greatly. She is actually at about a 2nd grade level in math, but can do some long division, She has very low self esteem in math class and often acts out when she is frustrated or doesn’t have a 1 on 1 aid. She loved Reflex because she could practice at home, and was successful at it. By the end of the year, she was able do twice as many math facts independently than before she started and therefore could begin participating in a few on level math activities with assistance. Her behaviors began to diminish and she tried so much harder in her homework and classroom activities. Having students practice and improve in fluency helps them be better able to focus when doing on level math problems, especially with fractions.”
