“The student engagement is incredible.  I have used Reflex with very strong math students, average math students, and students with special education plans. All of these groups of students enjoy playing the games. I love how Reflex adapts to each individual students’ needs. When students know their basic facts from memory, it frees up their brain to perform the more complex steps that we need to them to do in order to become better problem solvers. I also think students feel better about themselves as mathematicians when they are able to quickly recall basic facts. The classroom teacher is also occasionally giving timed fluency assessments and what the students are gaining on Reflex is also being demonstrated on paper/pencil assessments.”
