Arkansas teacher declares: "I love using Gizmos."

With funding from a Title IID grant (EETT), middle school teachers and students across Arkansas are experiencing Gizmos!  After just a few short months of implementation, one teacher wrote to us about how integrating Gizmos has transformed her classroom and lesson planning:

“…I love using Gizmos.  It is so user friendly that I feel comfortable enough to explore a lesson in front of my class. My students totally enjoy the lessons.  We have done them as a whole class, in the computer lab with partners, and as individuals.  They talk math and science when we are using Gizmos.

I teach middle school math and science and I find the lessons to be valuable experiences for supporting the content...They are fabulous for giving students an understanding of controlling and manipulating variables.  They are probably one of the most helpful tools that I have received in many years.  I spend hours in lesson preparation, and yet Gizmos only requires a few minutes to find a lesson, comprehend it, and plug it into the curriculum.

Thank you for designing a program that does not require a doctorate in computer language and operation.  Thank you for lessons that have beautiful, appealing, captivating presentations and applicable content.  This is so wonderful!!”
