ExploreLearning in Anaheim and Atlanta
Some of our staff just returned from the National Council of Teachers of
Mathematics (NCTM) convention held in Atlanta. At NCTM, we held booth demonstrations of
Gizmos and we sponsored an on-program session to help enthusiastic attendees
learn more about the power of Gizmos. Prior to NCTM we participated in the Association
of Superintendent and Curriculum Director’s annual conference (ASCD), held in Anaheim, CA. At ASCD, ExploreLearning sponsored a
breakfast where we discussed our relationship with McREL (Mid-Continent
Research for Education and Learning). On hand were Ceri Dean, Vice President of
Field Services at McREL, David Frost, Vice-President for New Business
Development at McREL, and Dave Shuster, Founder and Publisher of
ExploreLearning Gizmos. Attendees
learned about McREL Professional Development programs for educators designed to
raise student performance in Math and Science.
Thanks to all who visited with us at both ASCD or NCTM!
Hope to see you in St. Louis!
