We are very honored to announce that ExploreLearning is Finalist in the 2007 CODiE Awards in the category of "Best Science Instruction Solution". ExploreLearning was the winner in this category in 2006 and was a Finalist for "Best Instructional Solution: Mathematics" and "Best Instructional Solution: Web-based or Online".
Presented by the Software & Information Industry Association (SIIA), the CODiE Awards celebrate achievement and vision in software, education technology and digital content. The CODiE Awards hold the distinction of being the only peer-recognition awards program of its kind in the industry, providing a unique opportunity for companies to earn the praise of their competitors.

New AQs and updated Gizmos
As 2006 came to a close, the development team at ExploreLearning worked feverishly to complete two big goals for the year. Our first goal was to modernize the older science Gizmos on the site. We have recently updated nine of these Gizmos:
- Basic Prism
- Moment of Inertia
- Phased Array
- Ray Tracing (Mirrors)
- Center of Mass
- Magnetic Induction
- Longitudinal Waves
- Shoot the Monkey
- 2D Collisions
A second goal was to publish additional assessment questions so that every modern science Gizmo has five. Almost 100 new assessment questions can now be seen on a wide variety of Gizmos. Over the next few weeks and months we will be working to do the same thing to our math library.
Happy new year, and enjoy the Gizmos!
