ExploreLearning and the "Bridging the Gap" Conference in Everett, WA
ExploreLearning looks forward to visiting Everett, Washington for "Bridging the Gap," a middle grades mathematics conference on July 25-27. Keynote speakers Dr. Lee Stiff, Professor of Mathematics from North Carolina State University and Dr. Glenda Lappan from Michigan State University, will discuss strategies for closing the achievement gap during these critical learning years.
In addition, teachers who attend the conference will have the chance to hear our own Thom O'Brien speak on how ExploreLearning Gizmos provide a powerful enhancement to the way teachers teach and students learn, in the middle school years and beyond.
If you are interested in knowing more about how your school can Bridge the Gap, check out Dr. Stiff’s presentation, "It Ain’t the Kidz" and see what schools can do to take ownership and make student performance in mathematics a priority.
