Progress Report on Known Issues

Editing Class Names and Descriptions

Last week, we reported a problem with editing class names and descriptions for teachers using MacOS 9.x and Internet Explorer 5.x.

This problem is partly resolved: if you're using OS9 and IE5, you can now edit the names of your classes, but not the descriptions. We'll get this last little bit fixed for you ASAP!

New Issue: Occasional Enrollment Error

If students try to enroll in a class, one or two of them may experience an error that looks a bit like this:

Error Occurred While Processing Request: Error Executing Database Query.
You will see this error only occasionally, if at all, and we are working to correct it as quickly as possible. In the meantime, here is a work-around to help your students complete the enrollment process:
  1. If the above error occurs, ask your student to log out and go to the site home page.
  2. Ask the student to try logging in.
  3. If the login is successful, ask the student to click the Enroll in a Class button and re-enter your class code.
  4. If the login is not successfull, ask the student to begin the enrollment process from scratch.
Again, we will have this problem resolved as quickly as possible. Thanks for your patience and your feedback
